I managed to get to the mid-century modern show at Dulwich college yesterday, it was full of fabulous things to look at and wonderful for people watching which is one of my favourite things to do. Sadly I forgot my camera - doh! Most of the stuff is way out of my price range but some of the little crafty stalls are affordable, I bought a couple of fab cards from dicky bird which I'm very pleased with. I'm also coveting gorgeous melamine placemats made by jenny duff and I wish I could knit like Sally Nencini - I want her dolly!!

I had to go to Argos in Peckham today to return something, a trip which would normally be akin to visiting the seventh circle of hell, but actually today I was pleasantly surprised. First of all the walk there was a total pleasure - isn't it amazing the difference a bit of sunshine makes? I wandered through the sunny streets of East Dulwich and Peckham admiring the blue skies, the blossom on the trees and the front gardens full of blooming daffs. Then when I got there the sales assistant was lovely and went totally out of her way to be helpful - truly a south east london miracle.
